Decipher the omen
I’m finally on Twitter—so here’s an ominous lunch break bird (har har).
Follow me at https://twitter.com/csmgllz if you like cryptic remarks and half-baked one-sentence stories.
the gender meta is so boring, everyone goes for the same 2 builds
My dad was telling me about these girls at his old college who invented a nail polish that paints on clear, and if you stir your drink with your finger with the nail polish on, it will react with the “Date Rape” drug and turn red.
Dude. It’s genius.
this is real as of april 2014. don’t believe me? check for yourself. congratulations society!! u rock!!
Google adjusts to your preferences and search patterns, What have you been searching?
is there an algorithm in place that it grabs certain pieces from information you read?
i really need to use a different email provider. i hate filter bubbles.
gifte, no. it just attemps to track your search history based on your IP, keeps cookies to track certain sites you’ve been to, checks for those cookies, et cetera. google adsense runs on a similar (if not the very same) paradigm.
gothgirlygirl, if you’re a smart web user you’re either using a browser that won’t allow google to track what you’re searching for, or you’re not using google. google does the exact same thing when you search for this while google has no data on you. are you gonna tell me that’s a coincidence?
people should just switch to duckduckgo. it runs off bing but at least it’s private and doesn’t try to railroad your search on women into every misogynist trope there is. says right on the front page even: “the search engine that doesn’t track you.” you can check that.
Toha Heavy Industries’ 800 Followers Giveaway!
So a couple weeks ago I passed 800 followers, and because of how much work I’ve put into my blog and how awesome my followers are, I’d like to give one lucky winner a CustomInk t-shirt based on the same iconic Tsutomu Nihei design (credit to ~ColdPhage for his vector render) used as my tumblr background. Perfect for fans of my blog, fans of Tsutomu Nihei’s manga, and people who just like badass t-shirts.
The image on the final version of the shirt will be slightly larger than that which appears on the preview version of the shirt.
Reblog and/or like this post by April 7, 2013, and you’ll get a chance to be the randomly selected winner of a free Toha Heavy Industries shirt in the size of your choice! You don’t have to be following me, but it’d be nice.
If you really like the design and you’d like to just straight-up buy a Toha Heavy Industries t-shirt, message me and we’ll talk pricing and shipping. The more pieces I order, regardless of size, the less it costs per shirt, so it’d actually be a little bit of a favor to me!
